• Secured 1st prize for classical music in Kerala state school youth festival in the year 1989 - 90, 1990 - 91
• 1st prize in classical music in Mahatma Gandhi University Youth Festival in the year 1994 -95
• 1st prize in classical music in Kerala University youth festival in the year 1996.
• 1st prize in south zone inter university youth festival held at Bangalore in December 1996
• 1st prize in the AIR music competition a Thiruvananthapuram radio station in the year 1994-95
• B High grade artist (vocal) in All India radio Thiruvananthapuram
• Secured Sangeetha Ratna Award from Chilanka Music Academy Aranmula in the year 2000
• Secured scholarship to young artists from Government of India - Ministry of HR Development, Department of culture, New Delhi in the year 1998 - 2000
